Worth the money
We bought all of our 5 kids one of these and they have used them A LOT. We have a great neighborhood to use these and I’ve gotten on it a few times myself. I got this scooter for my 11, 9, and 6 year olds. They love it! It goes fast enough for the 11 year old but slow enough for the 6 year old. My husband and I even ride it! It holds a charge well even with cousins and neighborhood kids riding it. It is making a rattling noise now that it did not make when we first purchased it, we will check that out ASAP! Great little scooter
Bought this scooter for our son’s 11th birthday. He comes in almost everyday telling us that he loves his scooter. The back tire is very difficult to inflate. Other than that we have had no problems. Razor E200 Electric Scooter- awesome!
We bought this scooter for our daughters 7&8yrs from EToys through [...]. Very pleased with delivery and package came in perfect shape no damage. First we did the over 12hr charge. Then my husband tweeked the brakes, so that my young children could squeeze the brakes while riding. We also adjusted the wire & cables to figure S like shape along outside of height bar, and secured it with a tie wrap just below where you adjust the height. Just like noted by another review, the tire valve stem extension is inside the right side handle grip just remove cap. This is not stated in the manual, but it is shown on the diagram that points out all the parts.

Our girls love this scooter and we do too, since it holds upto approx 200lbs. We just ride it back and forth down our sidewalk for about 5 houses down the street, and in and out of driveways.

We have been careful not to turn it on its side since we read comments that this can break of parts. Other neighborhood kids :2010-11-30 00:58:12

I bought this for my 9 year-old daughter and she loves it. I was considering the E100 because of the age recommendations but decided to go with the E200 because of the weight capacity. Im glad I did. Fun for all!
My son loves this scooter. It was easy to put together (mostly assembled) and it runs great! We had one mishap which caused the chain to derail (6″ curb) however it was fairly easy to set it back. It still runs like new and you dont have to worry about the weight limit since it accomodates most adults. :2010-09-17 04:47:57

Riding the Razors Edge…….
My 9 yr old son and I read through the consumer reviews of 7 different electric scooters. After careful consideration we opted for the E200. Box arrived at our front door in Hawaii within 2 days! Easy to set up we plugged in the battery charger and left it over night. Next day we went to our local park and I let my son loose on the basketball court. This scooter is really fast. I put a baseball radar gun to clock his speed and his best was 13 mph. 13 mph for a 9 yr old riding a scooter is fast in my opinion.
After 34 charges it still retains a decent charge. This past weekend he got 48 minutes of continuous riding time on a flat surface. Going uphill as well as rider weight will be a factor in determining riding time. The factory manual states the battery life to be approx 250 charges. You need to pay close attention to tire pressure and chain tension. After a month and a half of ownership I am pleased with the E200.

Pain in the butt!!
I bought this for my sons 12 th birthday. When we received it it had to charge for 18 hours and thent he rear tire would not hold air. We used a bicycle pump as instructed but apparently the tube was faulty. Had to file a warranty claim and wait for a repair for a week. Razor E200 Electric Scooter
I received my scooter a few days ago and it has been quite enjoyable. I purchased it to zip across campus but it weighs a lot for any convenience. But it gets me from one end of campus to another fast. It does go a lot faster then advertised.

I did everything to the “T” when putting it together. And have not had any problems with the motor scrapping on little mounds. It does need to take a gradual incline though because the motor wont get good pick up on a straight incline.

I originally was going to buy the 300 series because I weigh 135lbs but Im only 5″3 and this is perfect. but if you weigh more or are taller I would go up a series. :2010-09-15 12:17:37

Great Toddler Diversion
This was a Christmas gift for my daughter who was nearly three at the time. I looked at a lot of dollhouses and castles and ultimately chose this one because of the elaborateness detail and colors. It was expensive – $135 – but I think in her eyes it is everything a princess castle should be.

Playmobil is great for detail and it makes for great play. It took about 1.5 hours to assemble but the instructions were clear and I really appreciated the thought that went into designing it. The parts are sturdy and fit together well. The package says ages 4+ and that concerned me. After giving it to her I realized that a smaller child will still love it but her pretend play doesnt yet delve into the small details of the castle. It is also the case that small children are more likely to pop off certain details like fencing or flowerpots. This is not a big problem though.

It is designed with Canon’s Optical Image Stabilizer technology and is compact and light. This high zoom ratio lens is equivalent to a focal length of 88-400mm in the 35mm format (when used on Canon EOS cameras compatible with EF-S lenses). The image stabilizer effect is equivalent to a shutter speed about 4 stops faster than the same size lens without Image Stabilizer. In other words, if the slowest shutter speed you could formerly hold a 250mm lens steadily was 1/250th of a second, with Canon’s 4-stop stabilization correction, you could hand-hold at shutter speeds as slow as 1/15th of a second. It also uses a UD-glass lens element to correct chromatic aberration for excellent image quality throughout the zoom range.

is worth the money, the focus is great and quick. I got a better picture of the goldfinches in the backyard, crisp and sharp the image stabilizer helps to get the best shot with out the blur.

Great piece of kit for the price
When looking at lenses, generally you know what type of photography you are hoping to do. This one is great for wild life photography.

There are some caveats. The biggest issue I have is with the speed of the auto focus. Yes, auto focus is built in and it works well, however it can seem to be glacial when trying to snap photographs of animals (or anything) in motion. Slow auto focus generally won’t be an issue with macro photography (assuming you aren’t photographing insects and such). I have missed shots and when I think I may want faster focus I put it on manual and adjust out to a specific distance and try to ensure what I am photographing is always that distance. Of course, this isn’t perfect either as I’ve gotten blurred subjects due to an incorrect focus plane.

Image stabilization is tremendous. It works rather well and as others have stated, it enables you to take a photograph a few f-stops lower than usual as it will accurately compensate for vibration.

One issue professionals may not approve of is the use of plastic housings. For normal, non-professional (and even some professionals), the plastic housing will be fine and you won’t notice a difference. For the photo-pro though, metal is obviously more sturdy and hardy, allowing for some bumps and bruises along the way while it travels in your kit bag. Plastic also makes the lens lighter.

The only other problem I have, and it’s only a problem when I forget proper flashes, is that the aperture is designed more for outdoor photography in decent to great lighting conditions. I’ve missed shots indoors (yeah, I’ve used it indoors) because of this.

Of course, if you’re looking for a lens that doesn’t have any of these issues, double or triple the amount of money you are willing to spend on a lens, as fast focusing lenses with better apertures will cost you.

Over all though, this is a great piece of kit, especially at this price. I bought mine elsewhere and bought it as a Canon refurb, but it was well worth what I paid and would be well worth Amazon’s asking price. No question about it.
